Meet Walker White, Chief Operating Officer at Limber Prosthetics
With a career spanning decades in engineering, sales and marketing, and leadership in high-growth companies, Walker brings a strong business and operational edge to Limber Prosthetics. Today, he applies that experience to something a bit more personal: helping deliver life-changing prosthetic solutions to patients around the world.

From Early Technology to Executive Leadership
Walker’s journey started in the technology industry. After being introduced to computers as a teenager, he quickly developed a passion for software and began writing code at just 15 years old.
He went on to study computer engineering at the University of California, San Diego, launching a career that would take him through some of the most influential companies in the tech industry.
At Oracle, Walker transitioned from software engineering into sales and leadership, eventually becoming Chief Technologist for Oracle Service Industries. He later moved into the startup world, serving as CTO and CEO of BDNA, which was ultimately acquired by Flexera, where he joined the executive team as SVP Products. After some time in PE, he returned to operating, serving as CEO of Oliver Technology, leading the company through initial growth to a merger.
Over the years, Walker began informally coaching first-time CEOs and often returned to UC San Diego as a guest lecturer. It was through these two paths that he met Limber Co-founder and CEO, Joshua Pelz.
Joining Limber
After connecting with Josh, the two quickly established a strong, candid relationship. As Walker spent more time with the Limber team and learned the industry, Walker recognized something special was happening at Limber.
“You have an opportunity for greatness,” Walker told Josh. ”I believe you have cracked the code on this one.”
What started as a coaching relationship quickly evolved. When the time came to bring in operational leadership, Josh asked Walker to join Limber as Chief Operating Officer.
Walker was excited to bring his operational expertise to a new industry entirely. “I had this thesis that if you can operate one business, you should be able to operate any business. Once you peel the onion, it’s all the same underneath,” Walker explains.
A New Kind of Impact
While Walker has spent much of his career building and selling software, his experience at Limber has been fundamentally different.
“Nobody cries when you sell them software,” he says. “A lot of people cry when you give them UniLegs.”
Working closely with clinicians and seeing firsthand the impact on patients has reshaped how he views his work. “You see first hand what this does for people, when you see their faces, when they hug you…it just changes you.”
Driving Operations and Growth
As COO, Walker oversees all non-product functions of the business, including finance, sales, and operations. His role is focused on scaling Limber’s impact—ensuring that the company can continue to grow while delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for patients and clinicians.
With Walker on board, Limber has already seen rapid adoption, significantly outpacing typical industry growth rates.
Looking Ahead
Walker’s vision for Limber is ambitious and clear.
“Every below-knee amputee should have walked in the UniLeg,” he says. “Every single one.”
He believes the product stands apart because it was designed from first principles. Rather than asking “how do we make a prosthetic device that can be properly coded by Medicare and make a lot of money”, Limber asked: “what is the best device for the patient?” Limber – and the UniLeg – is the result of that focus.
For Walker, this stage of his career represents something more than just another leadership role.
“If this is my last job,” he says, “it will definitely be – and already has been – the best job of my career. I’m very fortunate to be able to contribute to Limber.”
At Limber, that mission is shared across the team: to expand access, improve outcomes, and help more patients return to the lives they want to live.
We love what we do.
